The Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) is a public university in Kenya that was formerly the Mombasa Polytechnic University College (MPUC). It transitioned to a fully-fledged university in 2013 and has a history that can be traced back to 1951 with the founding of the Mombasa Institute of Muslim Education (MIOME). TUM is located in Mombasa County and has a main campus as well as two satellite campuses in Kwale and Lamu counties.
